Architecture Week Basel 2022
Mecanismo Ingenieria Team is collaborating with Isla Architects (Marta Colón de Carvajal and Juan Palencia) in the development of the Basel Pavilion for Architecture Week Basel 2022.
This is a very interesting, experimental and pioneering project in the architectural exploration of climate-friendly circular construction whose structure is made entirely of reused components.
Specifically, we want to highlight the analysis that we are developing of the cardboard structures of some of the modules of the pavilion.
In the image below you can see one of the units in development with a structure of cardboard tubes.
The pavilion was the winner between 182 proposals submitted. Congratulations to the architects! We are so happy to be able to carry out this work.
