Abstract:

Through various case studies, special emphasis will be placed on conceptual issues in the development of building structure projects. Projects of different materials, typologies and scales will be presented, trying to cover a wide range of project situations.

SPEAKER 🗣️

Juan Rey, Civil Engineer from the UDC, Ph.D. in Architecture from the UPM, features more than 20 years of experience in the design and calculation of building structures. Since 2003 he is the Director of Mecanismo Structural Engineering. Since 2007 he combines his professional activity with teaching, having taught at the ETSAM (UPM), ETSAC (UDC), as well as at several foreign universities (USA, Taiwan, etc.)
