María Hervás Square in Dénia

At Mecanismo Ingeniería, we are proud to have collaborated as structural consultants on the new María Hervás Square in Dénia, a project led by DeVillarChacón (DVCH).

Our role focused on providing technical support for an architectural design that defies environmental conditions to create an urban oasis. The engineering behind the metal structure and the perimeter pergola was key to:

Supporting the large shaded areas that reduce ambient temperature by up to 7°C.
Seamlessly integrating photovoltaic panels and lighting systems.
Ensuring stability against wind loads in a coastal environment while maintaining the visual slenderness of the structure.
