“A lightweight structure, covered with textiles and recyclable, in contrast to the steel and glass skyscrapers that are the trademark of Dubai”

The main structure of the building is made with reinforced concrete slabs. The building is composed of two distinct parts: the ‘Basement’, entirely made of reinforced concrete, and the steel structures with conical shapes, the ‘Domes’, covered with textiles. Both parts are connected by bolted and welded joints. The steel structures are prefabricated and pre-assembled in the workshop, then transported to be assembled on-site. The foundation and the perimeter retaining wall are built in situ before the assembly of the steel structure.
