“Rehabilitation Project for the Aqueducts of the Mañeru Power Plant (Navarre), an original work by Eduardo Torroja from 1939.”

The Mañeru Aqueduct (Navarre) is an outstanding civil engineering work built in 1939 and designed by the renowned engineer Eduardo Torroja. It was part of the hydraulic infrastructure of the Mañeru power plant and stands as a remarkable example of the innovative use of reinforced concrete in the first half of the 20th century. Its design combines structural efficiency with formal elegance, both distinctive features of Torroja’s work. In recent years, rehabilitation and conservation projects have been carried out to preserve its historical, technical, and heritage value, in which Mecanismo Ingeniería has played an active role.
