Nominees for the Mies van der Rohe Awards (EUmies Awards) 2024

The European Commission and the Mies van der Rohe Foundation have recently announced the nominees for the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture / Mies van der Rohe Awards (EUmies Awards) 2024.

“LaScalA”, NSA6 of 100 social housing units in Madrid for EMVS, is one of the nominated projects.

Work of the architects Mauro Bravo, Marina del Mármol, Daniel Bergman and Miguel Herraiz; and in which Mecanismo Ingeniería has participated as a structural consultant in the development of the structural execution project and the technical assistance, this social housing building already has numerous awards and distinctions such as Palmarés Technal 2022, Life Challenge 2022 Collective Housing, Mention Veteco Awards, Selected in the Architecture Awards 2022…

The EUmies Awards 2024 will recognise the best buildings completed in Europe between April 2021 and May 2023. The 2024 cycle will reflect on the current challenges faced by citizens, architects, clients, developers, policy makers and other professionals in the context of the European Green Pact.
